She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Lakey; her stepfather Wentworth Lakey; and her grandparents, Arthur Sampson and Ruth Sampson. She is survived by: her husband William "Billy" Carson; and her children, Michael Carson (Tammy), Mona Kirk, Mark Carson (Christine), Robin Hebert (Mark) and Tracy Carson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
