He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Erickson Cash; his children, Kay Cash Stavrum (Gary) of Grayton Beach, FL, James Cash (Windy) of Germantown, TN and Jeanne Ann Cash Rehrig (Steve) of Memphis, TN.; his grandchildren, Madeline Henninger (Eric), Anna Merrill (David), Bailey Cash, Cooper Cash, Ella Cash, Alice Rehrig and Evelyn Rehrig; and his sisters, Pat Malouf (Alex) of Fairhope, Alabama, Theresa DeSensi (Frank) of Louisville, Kentucky, Carol Higdon (Greg) of Fancy Farm, Kentucky, Marilyn King (Gary) of Fancy Farm, Kentucky, Kitty Elliott (Steve) of Mayfield, Kentucky and Mary Ellen Matthew (Randy) of Collierville, Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (1695 Central Ave, Memphis, TN 38104). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1695 Central Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104 and/or Christian Brothers University, 650 East Parkway South, Memphis, TN 38104.
