It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Earl Ward of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Bea Woods Ward; and his wife Eugenia Burgess Ward. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Ward (Nancy) of Atoka, TN, Vicki Moore (Rodney) and Melana Sain (AJ) of Memphis, TN; his sisters, Vondella Davis and Lois Meadows of Tonganoxie, KS.; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Moore (Salenia), Bethanie Humber (Andrew), Logan Ward, Lauren Ward, Dr. Carly Burd (Tripp), Brooke Sain and Shea Sain. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
