We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2024, at the age of 94, James Edmond McGehee Jr. (Memphis, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though James has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia B. McGehee; and his stepsons, Dr. George H. Treadwell, III and William Nugent Treadwell. He is survived by: his sons, James E. McGehee, III (Janet), Stuart C. McGehee (Dione) and Andrew P. McGehee (Tiffany).
