He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Duncan; his parents, James Ford Duncan, Sr. and Narine May Duncan; his son Robby Duncan; and his brother Johnny Duncan.

He is survived by: his children, Alicia Harwell (Tim), Randy Duncan and Vince Bell (Janine); his grandchildren, Crystal Via (Terry), Casey Beaver (Blaine), Meghan Rice (Mark), Steven Cramer and McKenzie Bell; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Evan, Johannah, Elaina, Lucas and Abigail.
