James Lee Allen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lee Allen (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Moscow, Tennessee, who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Lee Allen to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his children, Charles LaVerge Allen, Gwendolyn Allen, Zeporia Allen-Wilson, Michael Allen, Eric Wayne Allen, Rodney Allen, Frederick Butler and Yewell Butler (RuGiana); his grandchildren, Juana Joyce Butler and Danetta Marcia Branch (Bruce); his siblings-in-law, McKinley "Ben" Hambrick, Don DeWayne Hambrick and Ida M. Hambrick; and his daughter Malinda Jordan (Tony). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews, his family as well as a great neighbor.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rs Lewis & Sons Funeral Home (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111).
