He is survived by: his wife Katherine Brankstone Evans (Katy); his children, Cynthia Evans Lewis (Jim), James M. Evans, Jr. (Stephanie) and Jeffery Alan Evans (Britney); his grandchildren, Brianna Lewis Bramlet (Bryson), Ian Evans, Levi Evans and Alexa Lewis; and his pets, Perry and Zoey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
