He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Jean Rapp; his parents, Harry Rapp and Annabelle Rapp; and his sons, David Rapp and Danny Rapp.

He is survived by: his son Joe Rapp (Jessie); his sisters, Carolyn Zink and Susie; and his close friend Wendell Cody.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home (6755 US-51, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:45 AM.

“Mr Rapp was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor. He was a good friend to my dad for 70+ years. He visited my Mom and Dad in Sneads Ferry, NC often on my Mom's birthday in April and my Dad's birthday in June, sometimes he would stay through for both. He would come back in October for his birthday as well. He was tremendously helpful to both and often the target of both of their jokes, but he loved the interactions and often gave out as much as he got with much laughter!”
