He was predeceased by: his brothers, Daniel William Hawkins Jr. and Charles Larry Hawkins; and his parents, Dorothy Walker and Daniel William Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Belinda Hart Hawkins; his daughters, Amanda Hawkins Gowen and Molly Hawkins Griesbeck; and his grandchildren, Hart, Annie, Wilkes Gowen, Walker and Miller Griesbeck.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be sent to the West Cancer Center Foundation.
