She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sherman and Ruth Sherman; and her sister Carolyn Cohen. She is survived by: her husband John Shelton; her son Andrew (Nikoo); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Edward.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Levy-Cooper Chapel, Temple Israel Cemetery (1680 Hernando Rd, Memphis, TN 38106).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
