She was predeceased by: her parents, Minerva Pinson, and Harry Pinson, Jr.; her children, JanMichael Tate and Patty M. Tate; and her siblings, Cozetta Collins, Glenda Baker and Harry Pinson.
She is survived by: her children, Toya M. Tate and Will T. Tate Jr.; her grandchildren, Kayla J. Watkins and DeAndre'O. Tate; and her siblings, Dorothy Hargrove, Betty Eckles, Annette Pinson, Rose Ann Pinson, Charles Pinson (Francis), Ronald Pinson (Cynthia) and Cornell Pinson (Rosemary). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
