Jannell G Crowder Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jannell G Crowder of Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Jane and Leo Lamar Gaither; her husband Lamar Crowder; her children, Matt Crowder and Judy Crowder Gravatt; and her son-in-law Jerry Howell.

She is survived by: her son Tim (Janice); her brothers, Lonnie Gaither (Marilyn) and Jimmy Gaither (Paula); her grandchildren, Stacey Vanzant (John), Amanda Myers (Jeff), Caleb Crowder (Michelle), Sidney Crowder (Sophie), Shannon Crowder and Savannah Maxwell (Sloan); her great grandchildren, Thomas Vanzant (Stephanie), Jacob Vanzant (Molly Kayte), Lennon Crowder, Luke Myers, Carson Crowder and Violet Myers; and her children-in-law, Loretta Bell and Dale Gravatt. She is also survived by 4 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the International Mission Board – Lottie Moon, in Jannell's memory.
