He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerald Mark Duncan and Donna McDaniel Duncan; his wife Martha Ann; his brother Joe McDaniel Duncan (Lee); his nephew Andrew; his daughter Ashley Duncan Mahaffey (Mark); his grandchildren, Sara and Mark; his daughter Donna Duncan; his grandsons, Alberto and Marcus; his stepdaughter Courtney Shepherd (James); and his stepgrandchildren, William and Caroline.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Idlewild Church, Rhodes College, or donor's choice.
