He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth "Shug" Richardson and Benjamin Kaplan; his stepfather Abe Richardson; and his wife Sherry Kaplan. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Curland (Mark) and Michelle Powell (Ed); and his grandchildren, Jessica White (Chris), Austin Curland, Will Powell and Alicia Powell. He is also survived by 5 great - grandchildren.
