With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Joyner of Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joyner and Peggy Joyner; and his granddaughter Greer Joyner. He is survived by: his wife Harolyn; his children, Robert W Joyner (Sherri), Paula L. Joyner, Jerry W. Joyner, Jr. (Julia) and David M. Joyner (Estelle); his stepchildren, Stephanie Barbour (Bill), Glen Stephenson (Tammy) and Suzanne Williams (Stephen); his grandchildren, Melanie Huggins, Connor Joyner, Nolan Joyner, Hudson Joyner, Hayes Joyner, Haley Jo Joyner, Jessie Lee Joyner, Blake Joyner, Ashley Joyner and Ella Joyner; his stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Lane, Christopher Stephenson, Sarah Fox, Cameron Fox, Ella Fox, Taylor Hein and Thomas Henry; and his brothers, Jim (Gail) and Phil Joyner (Ina Sue).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, Germantown Baptist Church or the charity of choice.
