She was predeceased by: her daughters, Jennifer E. (Carpenter) and Branson (Neil Branson). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Thomas Grady Carpenter; and her sons, Todd Carpenter (Robin) and Timothy Carpenter (Melody). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
