He was predeceased by: his children, Edward Ray Carpenter and Tanya Rivers; and his parents, Jimmie Lee Roberson and Georgia Mae Roberson-Ellison. He is survived by: his wife Bertha E Roberson; his son Kenrick Rivers; and his stepson Shane Dale Catron.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Community Bible Church (601 N Bellevue Blvd, Memphis, TN 38107).
