He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fay and John McCants; his brother Benjamin Allen Ernest; and his uncle Donald Earl McCants. He is survived by: his parents, David Read and Laura Read; and his aunts, Beverly Fay Younger (Bob), Arlie Kay Mitchell (Butch) and Dorothy Bell Flowers (Terry). He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
