He was predeceased by: his parents, John George Metz, Sr. and Beatrice Bryan Metz. He is survived by: his wife Michaela McGannon Metz; his sons, Patrick B. Metz, Sr. (Marion Thompson Metz) and Stephen J. Metz (Lisa Coomer Metz); his grandchildren, Patrick, Stephen, Father Michael, Bryan, Kevin, John Paul, Brother Gregory, Mary Margaret, Anne Marie, James, Regina, Joseph, Mary Grace, Mark, Catherine, Teresa and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Madeline, Patrick, Mary Brooking, Philip, Anthony, Paul, Casey, Carolyn, Maria, John Paul, Michael, Margot, Oliver, Frances, Charlotte and Harriette.
