He was predeceased by: his parents, John McQueen Guttery, Jr. and Vivian Ballard. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Hooker; his children, Kathy and John, IV; his siblings, Katherine Evans and Steve; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Guttery, Lynda Hughey and Benton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
