John Stewart Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2026 we had to say goodbye to John Stewart of Memphis, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Billy (Jack); his nephew Vance; and his children, Virginia Lee Mueller, Kathleen Vance Jordan, Matthew, Jack, Brooklyn, Owen and Emily Stewart Jones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude, The Church Health Center or the Memphis Food Bank.
