He is survived by: his wife Kaki Elkin Crews; his sister-in-law Elaine Elliot Crews; his children, Kate Crews Morrison (John), John Thomas Crews, Jr. (Michelle) and James Holt Crews (Sidney); his grandsons, John Phillips Morrison, Jr. (Katie), John Thomas Crews, III (Ashley), William Crews Morrison, James Holt Crews, Jr. (Grace), George Joseph Crews, Samuel Elkin Crews and David Hampton Crews; and also, Katherine "Kate" Crews Morrison, John Thomas Crews, Jr. and James Holt Crews.
