It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Whitaker (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Amory, Mississippi, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his daughter Annette Cain (Bill); his wife Rose Rowan; his grandsons, Dr. Christian Cain (Laura) and Austin Cain (Miranda); his son Mark Whitaker (Phyllis); his grandson Nick Whitaker (Grace); his great grandchildren, Kelly and Lewis; his grandson Eric Whitaker (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, John Clayton, Noah and Jacob; and his extended family, JoAnn Whitaker, Bruce Whitaker, Sissy Edwards and Norris Thomas.
