She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Orient Patterson and Marion Elizabeth Baird Patterson; and her husband John Marvin Hardin of Memphis, Tennessee.. She is survived by: her friends, Margaret Hillhouse Dean, Daniel Merrick Dean of Germantown, Tennessee, Christopher Carl Layton, Erika Strahl Layton of Knoxville, Tennessee, Gwenyth Elise Layton of Knoxville, Tennessee and Michael Ramsey (Plough Towers) of Memphis, Tennessee. She is also survived by many children and friends.
