Judy Woods Patton Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 82, Judy Woods Patton of Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Judy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Judy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lain Woods and Maidell Woods. She is survived by: her children, Eric Todd Patton (Sherry) and Trisha Lain Patton Gurley (Kristopher); her husband Jim Patton; her grandsons, Ryan Patton and Thomas Patton; and her sister Gwendolyn Montague. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Tennessee Baptist Children's Home or an animal shelter of the donor's choice.
