With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Wellford Allen (Memphis, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Allen Berger (Bill) of St. Louis, MO, Ray M. Allen, Jr. (Louise) of Memphis and Katherine M. Allen (Richard Page) of State College, PA.; her grandchildren, Sam, Marian, Briar (Flann), Bryan, Charlie (Elyssa), John, Nathan and Louise; and her sister Mary Ford (Bill) of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to MIFA, Idlewild Presbyterian Church or Rhodes College, all in Memphis, TN.
