In loving memory of Katherine Reid (Memphis, Tennessee), who departed this world on October 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Katherine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pless H. Beamon Sr. and Viola Young Beamon; and her brothers, Pless Beamon, Nick Beamon, Robert Beamon and Jerry Beamon.
She is survived by: her children, Demonie Reid Pierce-Barrett (Alton Barrett) and Harvey Lee Reid III; her goddaughter Brenda Bernard; and her grandchildren, Reid Pierce, Ryan Pierce, Meia Pierce, Adana Irvine, Brandon Barrett, Miranda Barrett and Gavin Barrett. She is also survived by four Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the R. S. Lewis Funeral Home (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
