It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Virginia Atkinson in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent S. Air Force Colonel; her husband Wilbur "Skip" Atkinson; her brother Bill Lane; her daughter-in-law Rondi Atkinson; her sons, Jay and Paul Atkinson; her grandchildren, Madison, Chandler and Wallis Atkinson; and her great grandchild Oliver Atkinson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canale Funeral Directors (2700 Union Ave Extended, Memphis, TN 38112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Kathy's memory.
