He was predeceased by: his sons, Donald and Jeffery; his parents, James and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Aline, Freda, Cathy, Gussie and Glen.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son Wayne (Laura); his granddaughter Robyn; his great grandchild Skye; and his siblings, Lela, Margaret and Freddie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
