She was predeceased by: her father Luther Roy Adams. She is survived by: her mother Ola Britt Adams; her husband Richard Harrison Eckels; her daughter Amanda Adams Eckels Goetze (Nick); and her grandchildren, Harrison and Madeline.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Church of the Holy Communion, Rhodes College, the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, or to an organization of the donor's choice.
