He is survived by: his siblings, Carrie Roach, Joanie Williams, Betty Jones, Vera Ray, Willie E. Young and Evelyn Young; his children, Lauren K. Young, Lawrence K. Young, Lowell K. Young and Latoya K. Young; and his granddaughters, Loreal K. Young and Laila K. Young.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the R. S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Homes (Walnut Grove) (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Metropolitan Baptist Church (767 Walker Ave, Memphis, TN 38126).
