She is survived by: her husband Charles Ray Sr.; her children, Angela Burton (Reginald), Charlene Coulter, Alvin Ray (Carla), Charles Ray Jr. (Regina), Carl Ray (Janice), Carol Richardson (Kim) and Dr. Joris M. Ray; her stepdaughter Bertha Hardaway (Leory); and her siblings, Charles Hayes Sr., Rubystein of Washington, Melvin Hayes and Charles Wilkins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
