It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lina Jeanette DeCuir of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father James Watkins; her husband Fred V. DeCuir, Jr.; and her sisters, Patricia (Joe Smith) and Dorothy (Wally Hillin). She is survived by: her children, Orean "Chip" DeCuir (Renee), Keith DeCuir (Colleen), Denise Harris (Chris) and Susan Hyde (Greg); and her sisters, Shirley Sedgwick (Kenneth) and Louise Lovell (Carey). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren plus 7 bonus grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.

“Just heard of Jeanette's passing. I worked with her at Holy Cross/Cross of Calvary many years ago. We enjoyed a friendship and social life with both Fred and Jeanette when we lived in Memphis. Those two were the greatest host and hostess. What a sweet, loving, Christian woman. I was blessed to know both Jeanette and Fred. May you have peace knowing that she has reached eternal life in heaven. Sincerely, Kathy Kraatz”
