We bid farewell to Lonnie Moore Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Vaiden, Mississippi, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2024 at the age of 73. Lonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. For Lonnie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lonnie Moore, Sr. and Louise Cain Neal. He is survived by : his daughters, LaShunta R Williams (Stacy), Marquetta Nebo (Jaja) and Roneisha Moore (Courtney); and his siblings, Rev. Garland Neal (Sherry), Mary Moore, Gloria Ford and Sharon Neal. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lewis & Sons Funeral Home (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the R. S. Lewis Funeral Home (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38112).
