She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Allen and Dorothy Allen; her husbands, S. G. Durham and Henry Brown; her daughters, Patsy Durham and Kathy Simmons; her granddaughter Laurie Ann Kemp; her siblings, Carroll, Vaden, Earnest, Billy, Huey, Joe Allen and Barbara Boyette; and her son-in-law Terry Gaut.

She is survived by : her daughters, Betty C. Kemp of Memphis, TN and Peggy Gaut of Southaven, MS; her son-in-law Gerald Simmons of Brighton, TN; her sister Mary Salassi of Rogers Springs, TN; and her grandchildren, John Kemp (Stephanie), Paul Kemp (Tonia), Michael Kemp, Jason Gaut, Tracey Woodruff (Michael), Samantha Gaut, Christopher Simmons, Tammy Simmons, Samuel Simmons (Stacy) and Amanda Henry (Jimmy). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
