She was predeceased by: her children, Lucy Johnson, Evelena Cloud (Dorsey), Bobbie Johnson, Carl Johnson (Yosh), Louvenia Johnson (Tite), Matrice Wilson (Ben), Harris Johnson (Ossie Ree), Rebecca Johnson (Becky), Laura Johnson, Jasper Bettis (Eugene), Hugh Green Jr. (Rozita), Melvin Green (Ann), Larence Green (June), Wayne Shipp (Pauline) and Greg Shipp (Anita).
She is survived by: her daughters, Beatrice Prescott (Benny West) (Clinton) and Jawana Shipp (Earl); and her grandchildren, Patrice Woodard (Larone), Tina Green, Demetria Green P., Benvin Green (Dameka), Courtney Shipp (Shametria), William Shipp and Taneka Allen. She is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Harrison's Memorial Chapel, Inc. (3320 Millbranch Rd, Memphis, TN 38116). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
