He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovelace Preston Gipson and Nellie Harriet Wright. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Mae Gipson (Lovelace) of Memphis, TN; and his daughters, Teresa Arnell Gipson-Lucas, Tamitha H Gipson-Johnson of Cordova, TN and Tinile L Gipson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rs Lewis & Sons (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church (70 N Bellevue Blvd, Memphis, TN 38104).
