She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hayes and Vivian Smith Hayes. She is survived by: her brother Buford "Bud" Hayes; her aunt Joyce Smith; her uncle Willard Smith; her children, Laura Ann Bedin and Robert Anthony Powell of Memphis, Tennessee; her sister Martha Jane Hayes Locke of Quitman; her sister-in-law Diane Hayes; and her grandson Brian Bedin of Vicenza. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
