Mark Dyson Salvatore Obituary

Mark D. Salvatore, aged 69, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2023, in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on September 26, 1953, in Montreal, Quebec, Mark was a loving father and a successful businessman.

Mark was deeply committed to his family, and he is survived by his daughter, Caitlin, his son, Michael, his daughter-in-law, Mary, and their three children, Ainslie, Remy, and Harvey. He is also survived by his siblings Paul (Kim), John David (Robyn), Ann (Bob), Peter (Ginette), Mary Jo (Dave), and his many nieces and nephews. Mark is survived by the mother of his children, Joan Etcovitch. He was predeceased by his second wife, Debrah, with whom he shared many happy years. Mark's partner, Sandi, was a special part of his life.

Throughout his career, Mark held various positions in the finance industry and eventually retired as the CFO/Controller of Sunshine Enterprises. Mark's professional life included significant international experiences, such as traveling to China and Korea multiple times for business purposes, which he greatly enjoyed despite his inability to master eating food with chopsticks.

A private memorial service will be held for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Mark's memory.
