We announce the death of Martha Jane Bledsoe of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 80. Martha Jane’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Hawks and Nell Hawks; her husband William T Bledsoe III; and her friend Valerie Houston. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennie Bledsoe and Bonnie Bledsoe Lee (David Lee); and her grandsons, Thomas Lee and John William Lee.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Riverside Chapel (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
