We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2023, at the age of 93, Martha Jean Hoffman Barbee of Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Charles Hoffman and Maude Hoffman; her husband William Barbee, Sr.; and her siblings, Wilburn Hoffman, Herbert C. Hoffman, Jr., Buzzy Hoffman, Mary Sims and Maude James.
She is survived by: her children, William Chip Barbee, Jr. of Millington and Sherry Kimery (Kevin) of Memphis, Tennessee.; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Marino (Andrew), Kathryn Kimery, Rachel Kimery and Margaret Kimery; and her great grandchild Margaret Macon Marino.
In lieu flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to either, The Wounded Warriors Project, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, LeBonheur Children's Hospital, Memphis Jewish Home or to a charity of your choice in memory of Mrs. Martha.
