She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Edith Shannon Roberson and James Samuel Roberson; her husband Johnny Herndon (Pontotoc County) of Troy; her siblings, Edith Roberson Weatherly, Jean Roberson Wood, Billy Roberson and Richard Roberson; and her siblings-in-law, Mattie Lou Herndon Edwards, J. L. Herndon and Joe Herndon.
She is survived by: her son Jody Herndon of Memphis; and her grandsons, Branan Herndon of Memphis and Gannon Herndon of Memphis.
