She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Athalone; her parents, William Henry and Ida Jones Phillips; her siblings, Philip "Bear" Phillips, Bessie L. Bailey and Eva P. Williams; her sons, Sidney and Stanley Landrum; and her granddaughter Tina Michelle Landrum.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Athalone, Eva Holsey, Fanette Athalone and Tine Athalone; her grandchildren, Angela Landrum, Rose Athalone, Stephanie Athalone, Alex Holsey and Clifton Athalone; and her aunt Lucile Matthews of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
