She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Campbell and Sallie Mae Campbell. She is survived by: her husband James R Shields; her daughter LaTonja Gilliam; and her grandchildren, Jamal Geeter (Gayle), James Geeter (Alexia) and Jazsmin Gilliam.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Rs Lewis & Sons Funeral Home (2944 Walnut Grove Rd, Memphis, TN 38111). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, TN 38125).
