He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie III and James Cole III of Fayette County, TN.; and his siblings, Ernestine McCullough (Ronald) and Charles David Cole. He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Wilhite, Dorris Lewis, Herbert Cole, Howard Cole and James Cole IV (Bernice). He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews as well as cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the High Point Chapel (3788 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122).
