He was predeceased by: his mother Reba Sue Garrett; his sister Lanita Henson; and his grandson Zachary Quinley. He is survived by: his significant other Donna Garrett; his children, Tabatha Bonds, Rebecca Jill Mayall (Randy), Halle Dunaway and Toby Smith (Holly Hunter); his sister Regenia Tucker (Gail); and his grandchildren, Cayla Smith, Nick Quinley, Cassidy Trouy, Maddie Kate Hollingsworth, Braelyn Bonds and Kaelyn Bonds. He is also survived by seven great-granddaughters, along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home (1701 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Campground Cemetery (9160 Campground Rd, Drummonds, TN 38023).
