She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Vernon Crook and Nora Lee Huggins-Crook; her husband Lewis Leon Deverell; and her son Terry Leon Deverell. She is survived by: her daughter Connie; and her son-in-law Perry Lambert. She is also survived by her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Family Funeral Care (4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Family Funeral Home (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).
