“Milton was a friend of 40+ years, and one of the folks I would call in Memphis, just to catch up on the news, after I moved to Middle Tennessee. He and Jo Anne were good friends to people from all walks of life. He was smart, kind and used his status in the community to help many, many folks who were in tough places. He held places of prominence in several organizations, but he was humble and could sit with folks from all stations of life, and enjoy a cup of coffee. He will be missed.by many.”
