It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Elizabeth Townshend of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Howard and Frances Townshend (Daniel); and her siblings, Frances Ann (Townshend) Atwood (Richard), Virginia, Joseph Jr., Edward B. and Jerry Townshend.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Margaret Schuster (Atwood), Miriam Elizabeth (Atwood) Massie (John) and Richard Edward Atwood (Susan); and her friend Sharon McCall. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
