She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Franklin Greer; and her parents, Malcolm Patterson Carlton and Nellie Madge Carlton. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Lewis Greer and David Newman Greer (Mary); her grandchildren, Nicholas McGregor Greer (Mara), Patrick Michael Greer (Tracey) and Grace Katherine Greer; her great grandchildren, Thomas Patrick Greer, Caroline Elizabeth Greer and John Thomas Greer; and her siblings, Nell Holmes (Jimmy), Pat Fetters and Malcolm Lee Carlton (Joyce). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Asbury United Methodist Church, or Memphis Union Mission.
